The Rehfeldt Group began its practice in 1996, with the commitment to help people by providing high quality tax, accounting and consulting services.  The firm is equally committed to providing the best possible work environment for each employee.   

In May 2005, The Rehfeldt Group was awarded its highest recognition to date by receiving Manatee County's Small Business of the Year award.  The award recognized the firm's business and financial achievements as well as community involvement.  The firm is a member of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce and The Better Business Council.

Due to its rapid growth the firm moved three times within five years and moved to a larger facility, until the firm purchased its location on 26th Street in November 2001.

Effective January 1, 2010, The Rehfeldt Group acquired a local CPA firm, Harrison, Alderman & Pilsbury.  In November 2010, the offices were consolidated into the original Rehfeldt Group office located on 26th Street.  The firm currently employs a staff of fourteen individuals, consisting of five CPAs as follows:
